Fellow Tree Huggers,
First, let me say how extremely happy and fortunate I feel about the list of fantastic people who have become members. My focus up to this point has been on getting the guild structure established. I have been choosing Exemplars and teaching them about the duties of their rank. Now that we have five Exemplars who I have confidence in, I may turn my attention to other important matters, such as expeditions, contests and guild events.
My time in game has been rather tight. I do my best to do some hunting between having conversations with Exemplars who need to learn about their duties, directing new recruits to learn the Code of Conduct, setting up an alliance with The Knights of the Watch, reviewing members with Magnimar, and a variety of other issues. If you have been unable to speak with me or I have left you hanging in the middle of a conversation, I sincerely apologize and assure you that it was unintentional. As the guild grows it will become more and more impossible for me to personally answer all the questions of every member. Even now I frequently find myself receiving questions from several people at the same time. It will be essential that new members go to their Exemplars with questions. For my sanity, LOL.
Mjolnihr is my primary character and I will play him almost exclusively. My little shaman Yahoo was created specifically for resurrecting members. I am in the habit of moving Yahoo to locations where lower level members (under 10th) are hunting and then returning to playing Mjolnihr. I welcome requests for Yahoo anytime they need a rez. I will do my best to make him available. Although it seems handy knowing that Yahoo is my alternate, I ask that you kindly refrain from asking me to have him join a group. It is important for many reasons that I raise up Mjolnihr. As the guild leader, its also important that Mjolnihr (not Yahoo) be available for people, such as other guild leaders, to contact in game.
