Rank Structure
During your first two weeks in the guild, you are a trainee. There is no certainty that you will become a Child of Yggdrasil. Failure to follow the Code of Conduct or being uncooperative with your Exemplar will result in immediate dismissal from the guild. Promotions are based upon the date you register as a member, not the date you were invited into the guild.
Trainee (TR):
They are instructed by their Exemplar to meet certain requirements in order to become Children of Yggdrasil. They are expected to group with other members often and are required to learn a trade skill.
Child of Yggdrasil (CY):
These members have passed the training period and are now full members. They answer directly to their Commander. They begin paying dues and have earned the right to wear the guild emblem.
Artisan (AR):
They have attained 400 or higher in a Trade Skill. They are required to use their skills to provide items for the guild. The guild treasury helps finance the advancement of their crafting skills. They're honored with a medal, displayed on the Awards Page of the web-site.
Realm Master (RM):
These members have demonstrated an ability and knowledge of group dynamics. All members when grouped with a RM should follow their instructions.
Exemplar (EX):
This is the first officer rank. The word means 'One worthy of imitation, a model.' He recruits and supervises new members until they become Children of Yggdrasil. The duties of an Exemplar can be a burden, but if you're a person who enjoys helping others then you will enjoy this position.
Yggdrasil's Elite (YE):
Some Children of Yggdrasil, who have reached at least 30th level, are exalted to the status of Elite. They are recognized by the guild as outstanding members. Yggdrasil's Elite are honored with a medal, displayed on the Awards Page of the web-site.
Commander (CO):
This is a powerful position. Commanders supervise up to five Exemplars and their Trainees. They are familiar with most of the realm, its dungeons and the frontiers. Commanders are given full authority over the members under their command.
General (GN):
These officers have won the favor of all the Generals, the Advisors and the Guild Leader. They have distinguished themselves as wise, noble and honorable. They supervise up to five Commanders and all members under them. They are consulted on all major decisions concerning the guild.
Advisor (A1, A2, A3):
They have been appointed by the Guild Leader himself to be one of three high officers in the guild. They vote on the promotions of new Commanders and Generals. They participate in all major decisions concerning the guild. They have all the authority of the Guild Leader himself whenever he is absent. They have a position that represents the Guild Leaders complete trust in them.
Guild Leader (GL):
He must be, at all times, what he hopes that all members will strive to be. He represents all that the guild stands for. He wants every member to gain as many benefits as possible. His focus is on the interests of the members and he is always seeking new ways to improve their enjoyment of the game.
